Technology partnership brings real-time Face Redaction with local edge processing to privacy-sensitive video applications.
AlgoFace and Network Optix have announced a technology partnership bringing privacy-conscious Face AI to the Nx ecosystem.
The integration combines AlgoFace with the Nx platform to help organizations gain more intelligence from video while keeping data protection front and center. The technology automatically redacts faces in real time using local processing, making it ideal for privacy-sensitive environments like schools, municipalities, transit systems, and smart cities such as Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners.
This automated masking helps minimize the exposure of personally identifiable information (PII), while enabling video to remain useful for security, situational awareness, and operational purposes without requiring cloud-based processing.
AI is creating tremendous opportunities for video, but more intelligence should not have to mean less privacy. Our partnership with AlgoFace gives customers a new way to use video to improve safety, awareness, and operations while taking a more responsible approach to how information about people is processed, collected, and stored. That matters especially in schools, transportation systems, public spaces, and other environments where privacy has to be part of the conversation from the beginning.

Intelligence Without Identification
Organizations are increasingly processing large amounts of face data, yet often this data is restricted or simply unnecessary.
For organizations navigating privacy, policy, or public-trust concerns around facial recognition, that creates new possibilities for applying intelligent video. Integrated with the Nx platform, AlgoFace capabilities can become part of broader security and operational workflows while giving organizations greater flexibility in how they use video involving people.
Visual intelligence does not need to rely on identifying individuals. There is tremendous value in understanding what is happening without needing to know who someone is. Network Optix shares our belief that useful insight and responsible technology can go hand in hand to build public trust, and this partnership gives organizations a practical way to put that approach into action.
